Yes, 2 percent is too much, which has been the purpose of my reply to your first article.
If your testing of this procedure has lead you to believe this then why not? You've clearly put a lot of thought into this plan, and I wish you well.
2 percent is a lot but using a starting equity of 300$ and utilizing .1 lot it would Be Hard to trade with reduced rik thean which

In order to acquire the correct pip worth, all you have to do is go to the Data sheet and place the current Exchange rate in column E. The calculator will automaticaly give you the pip value in USD. The values are fairly mush up to date as of this posting.

So this calculator can also be a pip value calculator on the Data Sheet.

I can move it down to 1 percent risk and exchange one $1000 lot with a 30 pip stop. I do not think that is unreasonable. It would also give me a 3.33:1 accurate leverage on the EURUSD market.

I guess that is what I will be doing as a couple individuals have addressed a concern over the option of 2%. 1% appears to fit all of the professionals recomendations as far as % of funding risk and amount of authentic leverage.

Ok this variant is simply for Excel.

I noticed in Excel a few of the lists were not correct, these were fixed. Additionally to have the DDE autoupdate, you must be running Excel not the available office version.

Go to the Data Sheet and select either Manual or Meta Trader on the upgrade type. If you select Meta Trader, you should have MT4 open and DDE empowered. This will auto upgrade your desk. Otherwise you must select Manual and manually input the information to the fields in yellow.

Attached is the newest launch of the calculator.

Now the true lot worth, position value and ture leverage are calculated to USD rather than a static 100,000. This offers the most accurate leverage in USD.

Three thumbs up with this Que!!!!!

For those who aren't utilizing this or something similar, do so if you truly wish to be successful at this!! DO NOT exceed 2-3% risk maximum (preferably 1-2 percent)!

You Cannot SUCCEED AT THIS LONG-TERM WITHOUT PROPER MONEY MANAGEMENT!!

Thank you a ton , For some reason I can't get it to talk to my MT4 but it is a Great little worksheet. .

I picked MetaTrader for upgrade method and also have MT running checked the DDE box. Will it use a Demo account??

If it's a mini account, you have to change column F to the data sheet to add a m at the conclusion.

    Example:

    Change

    =MT4|ASK!USDJPY

    To

    =MT4|ASK!USDJPYm
