Those stered trend lines are pretty nifty.
I've gradually progressed to all those colours and line styles.
Have Been attempting to keep the important information there without feeling cluttered.
Even the color of my fibs has been selected to be background-ish to keep those trendlines appearing more clear and important.

I am sure like most individuals approaches, it is permanently evolving, eh?

    Good thread folks!

Here is my choice, been using it for about 6 weeks. Before I had been using a black background but I found it tiring to get my eyes when I saw charts for many hours a day.

[quote=accrete;100312]Greetings, my suggestion is do a fast search on google, or comparable, for the word http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colour_therapy. After my study almost a year ago here is what I have already been using, and I'm looking at charts about 9 hours every day performing TA and these. Very calming and I'm happy and chipper all day long : ) Cheers, Thom picture[/quote

    Accrete,

I favor a dark background and light foreground, exact colours vary depending on the chart and mood.

which is logical. If your Moving Averages were all the exact same colour you would be conflating them all the time.

Exactly, I utilize EMA 20 50 plus they are green and red! Same colours are really confusing from the rangy market.

True. In my opinion all different tools should be contrasting colours. The chart may wind up looking a little garish, but it will be clear.

Here is what my charts seem like. I really don't know about them appearing professional, but they're easy on the eyes.
