Thread: The Orginal Tlatomi Method - EA

  1. #1
    Hello Traders,

This EA is based on the First Tlatomi method along with its Original Indiors. The First Tlatomi method .pdf was attached along with this post, the one distinction is that the omission of the Shi_silvertrend sig. Because most of us understand shi repaints; I do not use SHI when trading tlatomi therefore that I chose EA should also not make use of it.

    ENTRY:

So EA looks only to nonlagMA and FXSniper CCI. The CCI cross must happen before the nonlagMA signal, if not commerce is going to be skipped (just like the Original Method)

    EXIT:

By default EA will exit the trade if the FXSniperCCI or the nonlagMA displays a reverse signal.

    HOW TO INSTALL:

    1) unzip tlatomi .zip file you'll find attached to this post.
Two ) there are three folders in the .zip document, one is experts, another is indiors, and finally is templates
    3) paset those repective documents of those folders to that of your MT4 Broker.
    4) restart MT4, then load the First Tlatomi-EA template.

Thats that you are now ready begin tlatomiing some pips.

*Notice: EA will work in anytimeframe and any currency pair, but such as the first method that was built and tested around the H4 interval GBPUSD. Also please play with the settings, the objective of this thread is to loe the best possible configurations and share effects.

    Regards,
    Mikhail

I'm also experimenting with the tlatomi method, specifically for EUR/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, GBP/USD, GBP/JPY and EUR/JPY around the four hour time period.

I'm wondering if using the 5 EMA and 9 SMA would function better than the nonlag indior, because nonlag indior appears to be rather odd to me.

Additionally the silvertrend indior appears to be odd since it jumps around.

What precisely is that the FX Sniper ergodic indior based on?

I will post later with some of my results and any more ideas. I'm considering an exit system which relies on moving average crosses rather than the other indiors in order to keep in the position longer.

Would you tell me some thing about the time of entry and exits?

With this EA, do they occur only at the opening of a new candle?

    How are the stops determined?

Listed below are some backtest results for GBP/JPY, using.1 lots each transaction.

November, 06 - Break (6 losses in a row, but one large triumph returned to break even point)

December, 06 - up by $280. Most profit was made on swings. At one stage it was up by $500, but accepting trades at particular levels brought on a spree of declines.

I shall continue to backtest all the weeks of 07 now.

    I discovered two major things:
    - All large profits were made when the Ergodic was either under -200 for longs or over 200 for shorts as it crossed. Virtually all trades made between these points resulted in losses. Is there anyway for me to place the EA so that it only opens long trades when Ergodic is under -200 and brief trades when it's over 200?

    - This system leaves big tendencies too early. Following a large trend is established, a different exit system ought to be used (such as 4 EMA crossing straight against 13 EMA).

I am interested with tlatomi method

how do I customize this EA?
I mean can I put up just how many lot per trade etc?
Can it be used in any currency pair by default?
Can it be used with micro lot?
What is the default quit loss?how can I place it?

Is this giving a fantastic effect on GBP/JPY?

    Hey Mikhail,

I'm currently doing a 1 year backtest on the GBP/JPY, it is going to require some time to complete.

That I will analyze what degree the ergodic blue lineup for each trade taken. I feel the -200 ergodic degree is much like the 70-65/30-35 RSI levels. This indies that it is oversold or overbought and prepared for a major swing.

My concern is the fact that it cashes out too early on extended trends. This is the issue with a lot of systems that rely on crosses such as exits. I believe such crosses and RSI amounts are good for entrances but not exits, since if a long-term trend is based in 1 direction there's a fantastic chance that it is going to continue fashion in that way despite being oversold/overbought. By way of instance, just look at the action about the EUR/JPY. It has been overbought for a while but it continues to rise. I could very easily compute that my way of departure, the 4 EMA and 13 EMA cross (but only after it is currently in profit), is much much much more profitable since this procedure makes all its money on large swings. With this departure, some individual trades could earn over 500 pips (EUR/JPY at this time is an illuion )

One concern is the late entry/exit. I think rather than awaiting the finish of the candle, perhaps it could open a place in the last 60 minutes of a candle. The originator of this Tlatomi method himself stated that if you'd like to be more competitive you can open a position prior to the finish of the candle.

I don't need to make too many changes, but as this EA currently is it appears to me a break system or a very marginally profitable system. Lots of small losses (due to starting positions involving 200 and -200 that are nearly always in ranging market, even though there are examples of a few good trades in these levels but they don't outweigh the bad transactions ) and then a big win that could be bigger. I'll show you some examples on my charts if this backtest is complete. So far April to November 06 are total, with a profit of only $200 on.1 lots.

Here are my backtest results, 1 year of information shows that this system is extremely profitable, even without my alterations.

The -200 Ergodic filter, interestingly, does not help that much since though there are a lot of losing trades between these levels, the couple winning trades cancel out the losing trades. I think more importantly the entry should somehow be earlier, not in the close of the candle. The exit in the close is nice I think.

Nevertheless my exit modifiion, based on my calculations, makes the system massively more profitable. In the attachment is an excel file that will show you the trades at which the 13x5 EMA cross will lead to a different depart and overall much much much more profit. I attached graphs of each month so that you can look at them and see for yourself the way that depart functions far better.

Another matter I will now analyze is whether we should discriminate between buy and sell orders, and perhaps apply more stringent limits to sell orders since a much less percentage of them were winners, that would be expected as GY was trending up on a monthly time scale for a long time.

In the orginal tlatomi thread, it had stated the H4 is the ideal time period.

Also, here is a link to someone that had found a fantastic method to better thread the entrance signals. https://www.nigeriaforextrading.com/...ja-trader.html

    Forgot to include

They fell the nonLagMA and switched on using 5 EMA and 9SMA. Looking at crosses for entrance and exit.
