    Hi

    I would like someone to help me create a simple indior.

    The need is as below :

    I would like to learn what is % difference betweent LTP ( Last traded Price) and also a perticular moving Average say 200 EMA or 50 EMA.

    rgds,
    Smok.

    How are you going to use that to trade?

    In the event you plot any moving average on price chart you'll discover that we normallly opt for crossover of this moving average . However if you had noticed prices proceed beyond moving average upto a certain limit and then again reverse to touch back to moving average.

    By Plotting the moving average and LTP % gap we could find out the probablity of reversal which will we will use to enter commerce with LESS risk.

    I think that this is a great idea. A lot of times when price goes far from a 200 MA and I see that price is revealing signs to return into it (I call it arriving residence) if gives me a sense of a greater likelihood that the transaction will work out, since price seem to keep want to return to it whether to cross it or bounce off it.

    I'll post the trades/analysis after I can plot this indior in the platform. Currently I am doing it by inspection yet to put this as a egy so that can be used by others as well I need to have some set ups.

    Smoke Sig,

    This post probably belongs in the programming section...

    the indiors introduced above display the distance between bid and 200 EMA in pips... not sure what you mean when you state you wnat it by percent... PM me your calculation and I will schedule it for you. . Should only take 2 or 1 min

    Numerical Distance from 200 EMA.mq4 gives the complete distance of LTP from state 200 EMA.

    I'm interested in getting all historical data of numerical distance of 200EMA out of LTP in % terms. I will be plotting it just like indior that will be give us maximum and minimum % distance out of LTP and based on that we're able to analyse.

    It would be great if you can do it so that I can start posting my analysis further based on this indior.

    I understand its own work of 10-15 minutes for a expert mt4 programmer.

    See I will illue as an example.

    Assume price USD/JPY = 90

    EMA= 99 indior value = 10 %
    EMA=90 indior value = 0%
    EMA= 81 indior value = -10 %

    Normally my observation is that LTP and EMA are in range of 10 to -10 %.

    So if we plot this indior on chart we'll get something similar to stochastics at which 10 creates the upper boundry and -10 forms the lower booundry so on this foundation setup we can apply additonal indiors and attempt to ch LOW RISK HIGH PROBABILITY TRADES.

    I will start posting charts once I receive this indior out of you .

    I will also add diffeerent set ups that we may use to make good pips.

    Thank you for the indior however that this doesn't meet my requirment.

    This indior indies the % gap between EMA and LTP Nevertheless it shows just 1 value.

    I want to plot these values as an indor. ( like stochastics)

    Where we may observe the overbot and oversold values by maximum % move up or down by moving average.

    I shall post very good pair ups based on this indior but currently I am doing it by visual inspection or using calculator that's very raw method.
