Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
I have already sent an email asking for a detailed explanation.I am waiting for your answer, but if they do not give me a satisfactory explanation, I will definitely do it public. The last thing I want is for other traders to fall in the same situation.I really appreciate your advice and support.
Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
It is nothing new. Some brokers inflate swaps or rollovers to take advantage of less experienced traders. That is why I always recommend using regulated brokers and carefully read policies before opening an account. If the adjustment does not correspond to the days you maintained the position, you have every right to claim.Don't let them ignore you;I insist until you get an answer.
Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
Thanks for the advice.I am beginning to understand the importance of working with regulated brokers and reviewing every detail before operating.I will continue to insist to get a clear explanation.I do not want this to be a lost lesson, but as something I can learn.
Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
111 pips for a couple of days is crazy, especially for a pair like the NZD/USD.Are you sure there was no mistake in your interpretation or on the trading platform?Be sure to verify the records of your account and compare the data with official swap rates. If you find inconsistencies, take your case to the regulatory authorities if necessary.
Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
Thanks for the suggestion.I will review the records of my account in detail.Maybe there is something that is losing me or misunderstanding. If I find something weird and the broker does not give an adequate response, I will not hesitate to climb the problem to a regulator. This cannot be like that.
Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
Did you expect the NZD/USD to "stabilize"?That already sounds like a bad strategy.Markets are volatile by nature, especially in Forex.Take advantage of this experience to improve not only in your broker choice, but also in your trading approach.Learn to operate with volatility, not against it.
Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
You are right, it was naive from me to expect stability in such a dynamic market.I am starting to work in more appropriate strategies to handle volatility. This has taught me not to underestimate the risks and to be more aware of how to operate in an informed manner. Thanks for your comment, it made me reflect.
Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
If your broker is charging you 111 pips for a rollover, it is clear that you are not working in your favor. Not all brokers are the same, but this type of practices should be unacceptable for any trader. The best thing you can do is learn from this situation and make sure not to operate with a broker that is not completely transparent with its policies.
Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
Thanks for the advice.I am starting to investigate options to change broker, but I want to make sure you choose one that is transparent and reliable. This experience has been frustrating, but I have definitely learned a valuable lesson. No more brings doubtful for me!
Re: Tomorrow Next (Tom Next)
It seems that you expected a fair treatment of a broker that clearly does not offer it.In Forex, you should always assume that every decision of the broker is designed to maximize its profits, not yours. That said, 111 pips remain excessive. He insists on obtaining explanations and, if you do not get them, change a regulated broker that operates with integrity.
