If you think it's normal to lose 50% of the capital in a month... then get ready to lose 100% in the second.
Brother, it's happened to all of us. Don't mess up, but don't ignore what happened. You have to check every trade as if it were a surgical operation: why did you go in? Did you go out well? Where did you fail? The important thing is to learn, not repeat.
I'm telling you, it's not normal. Losing is part of the game, yes, but if you merge half the capital in 30 days, there are serious mistakes.
Losing fast is the easiest thing in the world. Earning slow is what it costs. So now you get the hard way: unlearn all the crap you saw on YouTube and start operating head-on.
What do you expect? Do you count in a month like those TikTok gurus? Welcome to reality.
I burned my first bill in two weeks. The second one lasted a month. The third one I started seeing the light. Don’t give up, but don’t keep doing the same either.
Take a picture of that equity curve, it's the best reminder of what you shouldn't do again.
What surprises me most is that you have operated without losing everything yet. Some discipline you have, use it to slow down and study more before you keep putting money in.
Do yourself a favor and go back to demo. Or better yet: operate in real with microlots and a compulsory trading journal. If you don’t take the process seriously, the market will continue to charge you lessons.
