As PMs don't allow attachments, I'll reply to them in this thread. OK, here is the first one....
No, I've never coded a MTF CCI, however I discovered the attached indy in my archives. You may also look to the Project Ultra thread, and ask jmw1970 if he's coded one. Also maybe check http://www.forex-tsd.com/indiors-met...r-indiors.html, and try Googling something such as mtf cci mt4 if you haven't previously done so. Personal contact
Sorry, but I'm not longer accepting personal messages, and I won't be responding to any FX associated e-mails. However:

#61623; Should you wish to ask about profitable EAs, sorry, but I don't know of some that are publicly available.
#61623; Should you want trading information, I'm only a part-time amateur, but if you want my opinions, see the 'Strategy tips...' section below.

Strategy tips, thoughts and caveats
Please remember that, although I've been playing the markets since 2001, I'm a retired programmer, not a pro trader. I run a couple of small accounts as a hobby, and I love tinkering with both automated and optional approaches. All of the following is offered on a basis. I recommend that you take nothing for granted test the viability of concepts and egies for your own satisfaction over several months' worth of altering markets -- before using them on a live account.
#61623; FWIW here's the basis of my approach, which uses a lot of FA. For folk who favor TA, and would like some original ideas as a potential starting point to research further, you may like to try out this (mostly mean reversion; again here), or this (trend following; see that the past couple of paragraphs).
#61623; As asked by MTaufiq, I've also shared some ideas on trading myths, the market 'iceberg', orderflow patterns, automated methods, approaches and markets, money management, constraints of TA, qualitative analysis, nuanced analysis, visibility, statistical validity, scaling up yields, martingale (and here), expectancy and MM, retrieval trading, risk calculations, risk of ruin, standing sizing, P/L considerations, pyramiding, inverting losses, nedging (and here), randomness (and here), uncorrelated rankings, indior kinds, price-following indiors, strength meters, repainting, Bollinger bands, overbought/sold, sacred grail, STP/ECN/NDD brokers, eduors, vendors, naysayers (and here), developers, programming asks (and here), member rankings, trade explorers, competitions, losing transactions, trading 'pyramid', seven columns, KISS, Ryan Jones MM, Gil Blake, plogy, gambler's fallacy (and here), Newcomb's paradox, roulette and MONOPOLY.
#61623; Among my favorite posts on ace trading are by fx1986, Ziad (blue typeface ), , TheRealThing, Gaston, topherhk88, and Parmalat.
#61623; Perhaps the most important post I've read in my 12 years atnigeriaforextradingwas composed by alphaomega (IMHO anybody who doesn't understand its impliions should not ever try to exchange).
#61623; here's a great video on the realities of trading with prop trader Tom Dante (warning: he utilizes a few colorful language!) . Tom's YouTube channel is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT4...tx7i903Yxcwxjw.

#61623; FWIW the extent of what I'd learned up to 2012 is reflected in this informative article, which also includes links to a lot of my old posts.

I shall add to the list as I find other great (IMHO) links or posts. Anybody, please feel welcome to post suggestions.
MT4 programming
I am quite sorry, but I'm no longer coding or troubleshooting indiors or EAs, neither for repayment nor goodwill. (Reasons and here).
#61623; You may try posting in one of those I code your indiors for free stickers (e.g. here), and hopefully someone can help you.
#61623; In case you need an indior, you could look in this thread (note especially the posts here and here, where you'll find ZIP files containing thousands of indiors), the links in the 'Miscellaneous resources' and 'MT4 Indiors' segments below, or try finding it with Google. It will have to be compiled with MetaEditor/compiler build 509 -- view this, if a MQ4 document was composed prior to Feb 2014.
#61623; In case you want to attempt and build an EA yourself, you could try out any one of https://fxdreema.com/, http://www.eatree.com/index-1.html, https://forexsb.com/, or http://www.molanis.com/. Search YouTube for videos showing how to use them. As I've never used any of these myself I can not offer a recommendation.
#61623; If you are willing to pay to get a programmer do the work, you could try https://www.mql5.com/en/job or even https://www.upwork.com/o/profiles/br...l4-programming. There are many developers who are pleased to code for cash. Or should you would rather stay within the boundaries of FF, then there are many competent developers you could try calling, e.g. http://www.ervent.net/, http://cjatradingtools.com/, https://www.upwork.com/fl/stephenambatoding, http://wiseea.wix.com/wise-ea#!contact, mladen, Nicholishen, pips4life, , Xaphod, cyber1, euclid, futurespec, MathTrader7, , ....
#61623; In case you want to teach yourself MQL4 programming, Jim Dandy has generated some very good tutorials (e.g. https://www.jimdandymql4courses.com/ https://www.jimdandyforex.com/ or https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...ejAJnqc_RIKLU5).

Requirements and conditions:
#61623; I've written these indiors and progr originally and primarily for my own use. All code is supplied at no cost, and is offered on an 'as is' basis. I'm NOT offering a programming or troubleshooting service. Where source code is supplied, you're welcome to alter it** for your own use; however, neither the first nor altered versions may be sold or distributed commercially.
#61623; I offer no guarantee that the software is appropriate for purpose, or free of errors. Download and use the indior(s) in your own risk. I take no liability for losses or personal harm.
[**NOTE: all these indiors were written using MetaEditor/compiler construct 509, as well as the code libraries. In case the .mq4 origin is available, and you would like it to compile/run without errors, you'll need to do this first. Otherwise, download only the .ex4 file]
F.A.Q.
I received a Few PMs asking me about my Ignore list. The majority of these folk are there because they support software piracy, or have shown disrespect toward programmers' work; and to stop me their requests are now automatically hidden from me.
I also receive a lot of PMs asking me about which would be the most profitable EAs, or to get overall trading advice. That's flattering, since I'm a programmer, NOT a professional forex trader. Nonetheless, I enjoy tinkering with systems and run a few small accounts. I'd like to play with blackjack, and I think in the inviolability of expectancy math; many of my opinions are grounded in Math 101, commonsense logic, and a fundamental understanding of how markets operate.
Anyhow, for whatever it is worth, here is my response to a single PM that I received. The author asked me about how he can make a living from conducting EAs (he said something like I'm not looking for the holy grail, only an EA with a 60% win rate):
When there was an easy means of attaining a guaranteed consistent 60% win rate, we would be forex millionaires. Any platform that#8217;s certain to deliver any kind of profit (assuming such a system exists) IS THE HOLY GRAIL. The key word being8220;guaranteed";.
Read this post, which was written by Joel Rensink, that has been trading forex for more than 30 years. Also this one. Then understand that these men are specialist traders, and that experienced traders will consistently outperform EAs. EAs can't apply smart 'contextual' analysis or conform to changing market conditions. As the expression goes a good trader follows his principles; a fantastic trader knows when to break them.
As an instance, the EAs that I co-developed here have backtested very profitably (up to 20% return per year), but that provides no guarantee that they'll be profitable going forward on a live account. And even in backtest, they don't generate returns that are consistent -- there are shedding months. After 7 years of studying forex, this really is the very best that I have been able to realize. Please read the posts by mim2005 in that thread, in which he speaks about automated forex systems being a small (and the most risky) part of a balanced investment portfolio.
Http://grailtrading.blogspot.co.nz/ is an interesting blog written by some very experienced traders. Read their EA, that was doing than ours, crashed as it suddenly encountered market conditions that the programmers hadn't expected.
The only way to learn forex would be to begin reading and experimenting yourself. If you would like to be profitable, be prepared for a long trip (I'm in my tenth year now and I'm still studying). There are not any tricks, and no shortcuts. There is not any return without taking a quantity of risk. In general, if you would like yields, then you must take risks, which means drawdowns your egy encounters market conditions. IMO you ought to trade only that you could afford to lose.
If forex is the only source of earnings, then there'll be added pressure to satisfy the goals needed to cover your bills. If losses permit you to get behind in meeting your goals, you'll discover yourself needing into overtrading, which eventually leads to errors and bigger losses.
Now that we've got the caveats out of the way, here are a few (free)nigeriaforextradingthreads that have helped me to understand forex:
James16 is highly regarded, although his price action techniques tend to function best on longer timeframes. At any rate, it is a good introduction to knowing candles and support/resistance kinds.
Millipede is a great concept, that entails taking low risk intraday entries, an then enabling those that hold to play over many days/weeks/months, for high RR trades.
Deadly accuracy also gives low risk intraday entries, around probable change points.
No-brainer trades utilizes support/resistance to do similarly.
Seneca pilot's Ramblings explains key amounts that are recognized by institutional traders.
Money flows, but not specifically a platform, provides exceptional material that every trader must know.
If You Want indior-based systems, here are some of the very popular ones:
Sonic R
Genesis
Choros
Trading Made Easy
Trade What You Watch
symphonie
To be fair, I harbor#8217;t followed any of them extensively, however they have been around for Some Time, and I#8217;t read great things about these.
IMO, items to remain well away from: anything between Martingale versions, adding to losing trades, broad or no stoplosses, recovery-type systems. More info here. A lot of these concepts can work profitably for many months, providing the trader a false sense of success, before they crash spectacularly. Among the reasons that many traders lose, is that they make conclusions based on their, rather than market behavior and probabilities.
In addition to the above, and should you would like to trade successfully intraday, find out as much as possible (Google, YouTube) about those concepts:
-- Orderflow trading (check out posts by skfx in this thread).
-- How banks control forex markets (and sabotage retail traders). Look for videos that are YouTube by people like Mark Chapman and Martin Cole.
-- Sam Seiden supply and demand levels (there's also a thorough post here).
It's my view that many robust systems are based around price patterns and behavior created by underlying drivers such as: macroeconomics, money flows, levels of supply and demand, orderflow, the need to maintain across-the-board triangular equilibrium (e.g. EURJPY = EURUSD x USDJPY), breakouts through times of liquidity, monitoring central bank/heavyweight activity, self-fulfilling prophecy, news trading, and evaporating extreme overboughtness/oversoldness, trapped trader behavior, crucial OHLC and 'bank' amounts, session/time-of-day idiosyncrasies.... And no doubt many others that I'm unaware of. Conventional indiors don't directly measure any of them. With all of these factors acting continuously and simultaneously, forex is perhaps the most complex market to analyze and commerce.
The strongest approach that I currently know of entails studying price from the perspective of longer term trend power, and then the manner in that it consolidates, then expands, then consolidates, then expands, over and above, within the tendency.
I've been around Forex mill's forum for at least 11 years now. Here is a listing of contributors (past or current) whom I think are either profitable traders, or have helped to shape the way that I consider forex. IMO there is high quality information in their posts:
alphaomega, , , BetterLife, , billflet, BillyRayVal, birdt, capitalist88, , , copi88, Craig, CrucialPoint, Cubbybgood, , Darkstar, , daytrading, Dopey, endroute, FerruFX, flotsom, forexhard, , , FXEZ, Gaston, grkfx, , HedgePiglet, Houdini, ianf0ster, Igrok, , Jack_Larkin, , Jarroo, , , kiwi_trader, kprsa, MagnumFreak, , , , mikkom, mim2005, mypipbull, nhen, , numbnuts, Parmalat, PeterCrowns, PeterFM, philmcgrew, pipEASY, PipMeUp, , Porkpie, Rabid, , Seneca_pilot, Sis.yphus, , skenobi, skfx, , soultrader, , the_wizard, TheRealThing, TeamAphid, topherhk88, triphop, Trotty, ubeee, unknown4x, vox_dei, wmd
No doubt there are other traders That Are equally worthy of honorable mention, howevernigeriaforextradingis a Huge forum, and there are not enough hours in a day to see, let alone test, every Idea that's presented here.
A number of the eduional stuff I have listed comprises a commercial schedule. Play your own due diligence, and # 8212; that option if you decide to spend money. Markets can change as they react to different economic climates and agendas, hence there is no guarantee that ANY egy will remain always profitable forever.
However, there might well be Foreign Exchange traders who have found a an infallible price pattern that provides a handsome, constant weekly profit. Hence they would disagree with much of what I have said. It's also possible that their 'edge' might stay effective over many years worth of changing markets, and even employ a MM. If you're lucky enough to find one of those who posts 8212; follow them, and obviously # 8212; ignore what I have mentioned. But rest assured that I'm not among them.
My 2c, for whatever it's worth,
David
