Re: Real Journal of a Small Account Trader Looking for Consistency
Brother, with $310 you can't afford to close by intuition. You have to follow the plan or you'll never know if it works.
Re: Real Journal of a Small Account Trader Looking for Consistency
Don't worry, it's better to have a realistic diary than the typical ones, from $50 to $5,000 in two weeks full of lies.
Re: Real Journal of a Small Account Trader Looking for Consistency
Today I operated GBPUSD. Long entrance after rupture of accumulation zone + surround sail pattern. Entry at 1.2728, SL 14 pips, TP 1.2768. I closed full TP. Emotion: entrusted at the beginning, then I hesitated to see recoil, but forced myself not to touch anything. Result: +3.1%. I am happy to respect the plan.
Re: Real Journal of a Small Account Trader Looking for Consistency
That's another thing. Letting the operation run and trusting the analysis is key.
Re: Real Journal of a Small Account Trader Looking for Consistency
More than the pips, I'm glad to see you went through your process.
Re: Real Journal of a Small Account Trader Looking for Consistency
Do you use any tools to manage the risk or do it by eye? Because sometimes that can save you from a complicated week.
Re: Real Journal of a Small Account Trader Looking for Consistency
Your diary is interesting, but I hope you include more screenshots so you can see what you saw.
Re: Real Journal of a Small Account Trader Looking for Consistency
Good suggestion. From tomorrow I start to raise catches. I want this to also serve others who are in a similar situation. By the way, I closed the week with +7.8%. Only 3 operations, but well executed. It is not money that is important now, but precision.

If you manage to maintain that level of patience and control, you will grow without realizing it. We underestimate how powerful it is not to lose.
Re: Real Journal of a Small Account Trader Looking for Consistency
Are you going to withdraw profits or plan to reinvest everything? I would recommend you take something out every now and then so that you don’t burn mentally.
