I desired background because as you can see in 1st post, the small instrument name supporting the major font instrument name was bothersome. Now difficulty solved. You have to put both indiors to the MQL4/indiors and template in template folder. And employ template.

Had a little spare time so wrote a new indior working with the new MT4 code, it's compiled on build 625, it has automatic background colour code that alters the colour to the same as the chart background colour.

Hi cja.

I applied the new tool with background.ex4 but when I change time frame, it disappears and re looks. Actually I'm delighted with this new version but if possible can you please fix this? And set up and down worth -12 by default because we need to hide the little tool name behind this Device name using background.

That slight delay between shing time frames is only the OnTimer() function refreshing the indior, however if waiting for 1 minute for your refresh is a problem I've changed the code so that it now remains on the chart the entire time and I've also reset the change as you requested.
