You just caught a bad break ... I regularly keep my SL in 30pips if the transaction do not go my way. You need to find another system if you wake up in the morning to exchange along with also the cross had occurred. But if you just stick with it and exchange it during the US open everyday... you'll do fine as time passes.

I want to ask you guys any advice or some thing in this trade I took now.

    Cross @ 1.2580 back 10:30 EST..
This candle struck entrance price but did not enter cos it was in the past five mins of the candle. The price had left wma 100 and daily open and had bull sentiment for dollar. So I waited till next one and enter the transaction 11:03 @ 1.2560, S/L 1.2580, TP 1.2535.
The price didn?t return along with my S/L was struck 12:14.
Then price went down and attained the levels in which my TP was.

The inquiry is, I did some thing wrong? Or was it just a normal reaction of the market!

I aprecciate any response to this men!!!
The only problem I see with your commerce is your SL.
Though we have a rule to place the first SL at the crossing point we occasionally have to take some market state under account.

There will be occasions once the market will return to check the 100wma before going further to the direction you anticipated and this was what happened in this particular trade. So usually if I see that the first SL point is near the 100wma, I would prefer to place the SL outside of the 100wma(in this instance 1.2590-1.2595) to prevent possible wicks.

    Happy Trading.

    Hi guys,

First of all, Stockwet, thanks a lot for the fantastic pdf's, they had been really helpfull to me!!!

I'm using BGX for about a month now in a demo account. I have won 3 out of 4 transactions.
    Now, Ive got 2 questions:

    1) How many transactions do you win with bgx (... out of ...)
    2) What's the risk/reward ratio?

Thank you a lot for the replies, I simply ask this because I'm developping a money management system for BGX and I need a bit more outcomes compared to my own.

    You're welcome.

    1. I really don't know the solution. I really don't trade the BGX system reside. Backtesting is nearly impossible, also, due to the rule. It would skew consequences of backtesting.
    2. I typically keep my max loss around 2-3%. You'd have to do a test of the BGX system to know what kind of risk/reward ratio you're looking at.

On a related note, the newest record of mine (the one with the bunny on the top) includes a section on money management. BunnyGirl takes a very different approach to money management than many others. It's kind of an egy, so, you may want to read up on it. The hardest part is figuring out where you would like to start, from a risk/reward level. From there, those ratios aren't used by you any longer.

    Regards,

You will be disappointed with my response... After first enthusiasm, I had a hit of (demo) losses, and simply could not get a single good trade out of the system anymore. I basically gave up it and went back to looking for something more compatible. I guess BGX is not my type of setup.

To answer your question I'd 3-4 good trades at the beginning (about each other commerce was powerful) and then there was 20 or so loosing ones. After that I stopped trying. Can I give up to early? But trading this method simply didn't feel good to me.

However, in my opinion Stockwet's documents are really helpful, thank you!

If you can get 3 out of 4 trades right, that's great! Add some cash management program and you're all set.

The market Has Been Very awful to such processes as the VWB and BGX in the last week. It has been a really short term trader's market. It is extraordinary in two to three days one is able to lose the cash she or he labored hard to make in the last month.

Additionally, such procedures work for a few pairs or in a more predicable manner, than other pairs. 20 losing streaks is a little bit excessive ... bad luck. What do you trade?

Hello everyone. As a newbie to thenigeriaforextradingas well as the FX market, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. There's so much advice here and I am learning so much like I examine and read of the info. I would like to say that I'm excited to be in the company of so many traders and look forward to continuing my eduion and development as a trader. I have read time and time again about the value of believing in it, testing it, creating a system, and executing it. Whenever you have a platform you are able to believe in it will help to keep emotions in check. I think I have found a home for a little while and look forward to interacting with the members of this Forum as I examine it.

    Greatest Speeches,

I believe that BGX is a fantastic method, it merely depends on your choice for your timeframe. I use 30min and no filter. However, I only entry when the cross is very powerful. I triumph 3out of 4 trades.
I use a 15pips trailing stop. I also use BGX for scalping using the graph, but then I try to forecast the crosses then I close my trade using a 5pip profit or a breakeven.
So this Is Quite effective for me
