Thread: Default chart colours

Wondering if it is possible to set up the chart window using a default candle color of my choosing instead of the white and black that currently shows when you select chart window out of a currency pair?

    Thought.
I currently run Heiken ashi charts and candlestick charts.
To make it easy with S and r lines I create up the HA charts then click the candlestick chart indior to change into CS charts which then keeps all of my mark.
Then I can remove the HA in the CS chart and save the chart.
When I follow this procedure right now, I still get the white and black candles. This is where I would like to get a different colour.

    Thanks

Could you please say again what you want to do and what's wrong?
Usually saving the template with the name default is the way to go what's the issue there?

    Hi kilian19,
Saving a template together with the name default option has worked when I go to the market view and pick a candlestick chart for the selected currency pair.
What is not doing the same, is using a Heiken i chart open, then clicking on the candlestick icon on the toolbar and using it overlay my default style candlestick chart on the current chart. The chart that comes up in this particular function is the black and white candlestick chart. It is more annoying as it has the black candles being bullish along with the snowy being bearish.

Just discovered the solution in the thread.
Create the template then call the template default.
