I have a tendency to stop trading about mid-way through December. I don't like the price action for a couple of weeks after that. I guess too many huge players close out their positions to get year-end accounting purposes, and it has an impact on price.
With Dec 15th falling on a Friday this year, which is my last day. Jan 8th looks just like a fantastic day to restart, with business as usual by then.
