Ideas on these trades:
Ok first losing afternoon, -7, not too bad if thats any kind of benchmark for the downside potential. Probably a position trade supervisor would have been able to make a winner from it, but I am logging everything according to strict mechanical principles in order to guage the overall potential for profitability.
One idea is that its fairly senseless to allow trades to have started after 1PM EST, because all open trades get closed at 3PM EST.. So in the upcoming 1PM is the latest for opening trades, while all trades get closed at 3PM.

One commerce taken on Micro-Happs chart which landed in profit. Kicked me up, however I knew that with no solid close over 4277 my commerce was still excellent. I'll post the entrance.
Hey Steve.. Great systems. Just to clarify, you shut all at 3pm. Est, and then compute the prior days' range according to 3pm-3pm? Then no trades until 8pm?
Trades are potentially open from 8PM to 3 PM the following day. The entire thing starts at 8PM that's the daily opening time for the East Coast.Originally Posted by ;

Just don't keep trades available from 3PM to 8PM, since the market slows to a crawl during these hours. Hope that is clear.
Thanks, Steve

Thoughts on these trades:
Great comeback in the later portion of the day. I thought the day was screwed at after the first couple of hours. GNZD continues to show its overall profitability. EU I believe is now the only undefeated pair, has not missed a transaction. I've actually started trading my money again on EU quarters trades, because they have been so trustworthy. EU is like 7 for 7.
But there is your six day complete. Every single pip being worth 2 cents on a hundred dollar account could have shown an 18.6percent rise in the last six trading days.
Here would be the Quarters effects from yesterday's intriguing activity:
EU: (1st round)triggered brief, 1st 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd hit trailing stop, ( 38)
(2nd round) triggered long, 1st 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd near EOD ( 28)
EU complete 64
USDCAD: (1st round) triggered extended, 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd hit trailing stop, ( 28), (2nd round) triggered brief, 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd shut EOD ( 14)
UCAD complete, 42
AU (1st round) triggered brief, 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd near BE 2, ( 9),
(2nd round) triggered brief, same outcome ( 9), complete 18
GU: triggered brief, 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd near BE 2, 11
EAUD: triggered extended, hit complete stop, -39
EJPY: (1st round) triggered long, hit complete cease, (-40), 2nd round triggered extended, 1st 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd near EOD, ( 9) complete -31
NZU: (1st round) triggered brief, hit complete stop (-33), 2nd round triggered brief, 1st half shot 1 box, 2nd near BE 2( 10) complete -23
GC: 1st round, triggered brief, 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd hit trailing stop ( 40), 2nd round triggered extended, 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd near EOD ( 36), complete 76
GY: triggered brief, 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd closed BE 2, 8
GNZD: not triggered
AUCAD: 1st round triggered brief, hit complete stop (-22), 2nd round triggered brief, 1/2 shot 1 box, 2nd near BE 2 ( 4) complete -18

Thoughts on such trades: over the weekend I'm going to look at the statitistics I've gathered on individual pairs, and determine which one's I can eliminate, namely those at a negative yield up to this stage. A number of those JPY and CAD crosses don't look worth it, with large spreads and tiny ranges. Anyway I'll make some decisions over the weekend depending on the stats.
EU is currently 9 out 9 positive trades. That is going to be a keeper. Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing weekend.
Here are the stats, as guaranteed. If you add it up I seem to be overlooking 39 pips somewhere in comparison to the regular running totals. Close enough. From most to least profitable:
#1)
EU: 5, 58, 75, -, 19, 36, 64
Complete: 257
#2)
GC: , 46, -, 55, -5, 15, 76

AUJPY: 23, 18, -, 35, -, 18, -
Complete: 94
#6)
NZU: 54, -5, 27, -, -12, 18, -23
Complete: 61
#7)
EJPY: 20, -, -, 23, -, 12, -31

Complete: -14
#13)
GJPY: -, -75, -, -, 11, 15, 8
Complete: -31
So there it is. UCAD, EAUD, and GJPY are all gone. From here on out I will only be working with 10 pairs. If those at the bottom of the listing of those pairs that are left don't show continuing success then I will weed them out too. But for the time being, running with 10.
Also someone wrote to me, and asked me if this system has been in any way related to this Quarters method by Ilian Yotov, who has released some youtube vids, also teaches over at FXstreet.
After looking over Mr. Yotov's system, I will say that my system and his own about as much in common as chocolate cake and prime rib.
Be that as it may, seeing as how Mr. Yotov's egy and more importantly its name is so well known, in order to avoid the chance of such a confusion later on, I will be refering to this system from now on as Three Fours. Easy enough. Three Fours it is.
Hi Netant, fair request. I'll attempt to place all of the revisions together in the first article a little later, even though there aren't too many. -ThanksOriginally Posted by ;

Observations: AU missed tripping a long by 1/3 of a pip that would have lost. It came back and triggered a long which won. Its significant, for better or worse, to make sure that the lines become struck into the pip before you put Three Fours trades to actions.
Oh yeah, EU is now 10 for 10 appropriate trades.
Micro-Happs: would have made anyone a lot pips yesterday. I traded the GZ off the Three Fours, also made a few other scalps to get 40 pips. These systems have served me well, and I haven't had a losing day in a fantastic while.
