Thread: Alarm robot that emails once per order

Hi guys,
I'm using MT4 email alerts - my email box alarm me with SMS message about new email - so in the result I've got SMS alerts from the MT4.

I discovered something similar to that:

Alarm EA - which is alarming You every time any order is closed or open.
For me - really nice - no more ASK/BID issues or distribute calculations.
EA is working fine - sending alarm emails.


However....
There's one problem - because I quickly realised - it's sending 15 or even 16 alarm mails every alarm.
Each open/closed order - You have got machine gun shooting You with plenty of SMS messages.

In my case - it will be 400 to 600 SMS messages weekly.
(and I've VPS as a backup to double trade and of course alarming software - so in the event of EA running also on VPS it will be over 1000 SMS messages per week)

You can not change the number of alarm emails beeing send (as mq4 document is not accessible ).
There's also a paid version of this EA - but also there is not any choice to change the number of alerts running on single order.


Does anybody has something like that - but sending just one alarm mail every open/closed order?

Well- it is probably not a coding error - I figure

You'll have with this EA - audio alert such as (you can select in options of EA what type of alarm you want and at what period ) - so 15 or 16 dingdongs each two seconds are ok.

It is merely one option in settings that's missing - the number of alarms you want to have on single trade.

I am beginning to feel sorry for my mobile

I've managed to contact the author of these EAs - but sadly he isn't working on these scripts and he won't send me mq4 document so I can change itself.

I was looking for another alarm robots doing exactly the exact same thing - sending an alert mail on opening/closing trade - so much, no outcomes.

It is quite weird (though I am not very good in mql programming) - since it seems to be rather straightforward EA - just sending an email on closing or opening trade.

Why to not give the mobile version of mt4 / mt5 an attempt? Use the push notifiion instead of sms.

Do I need to have access to a mobile internet all the time to maintain it working 100% constantly and messaging immediately? (Sorry for my ignorance - but I didn`t use cellular mt)

I need something that I can rely on 100 percent (and I reside in the nation where beeing in range of cellular internet is not a clear thing)

SMS messages notifying about email alerts send from VPS - are working thus far perfect, immediately and never neglected.
So - because I tested automated alarming - I'd generally like to keep it working that way - just without manually placing alarms .

Of course - without any advancement with the EA (so far nothing) - I will try push telling, as You suggested.
However, with issues of beeing in range of cellular - I will have no option but to rely on SMS messaging

I discovered another alerting EA (MQL attached) - and it has the exact same problem - each open/changed transaction it is sending a majority number of emails.

The matter is that if You have these EAs running such as on 15 charts - they will send 15 alarm emails on each open/closed trade.

And it looks like all notifying EAs have exactly the same difficulty - functioning on several charts they will send several emails on single alarm.

Does anyone has any clue how to solve this problem?

I know the solution.

And it is actually trivial.

To possess these alarming EA's working - it is enough to start them just on one chart (also it may be almost any chart).

They are taking care of orders - not what is happening chart.
Only one instance of these alarming EA'therefore is necessary in one metatrader to maintain it working fine.

The way the product which can be found on the MQL5 market place (even freely) could have this sort of issue... Weird it got accepted by Metaquotes.

That is a coding issue...
