Thread: Is it really worth the fundamental analysis?

  1. #1
Hello everyone!I have been operating in Forex markets and actions for a few years, and I have always heard about the importance of fundamental analysis. Many traders swore that it is essential, but after trying it for a while, I am not sure if it is really worth the time I dedicate.Does anyone have experiences that can share? Is it really worth being aware of economic news or is it just noise in the market?

Look, the fundamental analysis is crucial if you really want to understand what long -term markets move.Of course, if you only operate in the short term, the graphics can give you everything you need, but if you want a deeper vision, the fundamental analysis will help you anticipate great movements.Don't you know why the dollar goes up or down the gold? That is precisely what the fundamental analysis allows you to understand.

I agree with what you say, but you have to know how to use the fundamental analysis. It is not just about reading news and thinking that this will give you an advantage.I use it to identify long -term trends and know if an asset is undervalued or overrated, but that requires time and patience. If you are only looking for fast profits, you may conform the technical analysis more.

It is curious what you say, because many times it seems to me that the fundamental analysis is full of factors that cannot be controlled.Central banks change interest rates without prior notice, governments publish economic figures that are often inaccurate ... Is it really possible to predict the market with such uncertainty?

That is a fallacy. If you do not understand how to interpret that news and how they affect the market, of course everything seems uncertain. The most experienced traders have learned to handle that news. The key is to read between the lines, not simply see the headlines. An economic fact does not always translate directly into a movement, but with the experience, you can see the connections.

The fundamental analysis is not only for the "prophets" who believe that the future can predict.Actually, fundamental analysis is a way of understanding the market context. It is not only to look at economic news, but to know how this news affects investors' expectations. If you do not understand how the economy works behind the movements, you are playing blindly.

It seems to me that you are taking the fundamental analysis too seriously. For me, it has always seemed more like a game of probabilities, and not one that can predict exactly.Sometimes economic data is not reflected in the market immediately, and correlation seems to be random. How do you know when the news will really impact the market?

Of course, it is easy to see things as a "chance game", but if you really want to improve your trading skills, you need to understand how the market reacts to certain events. The news does not always cause immediate movements, but experienced traders know that, in the long term, what happens in the economy is reflected in prices. It's not just about luck, it's about anticipating.

I don't know if calling that "luck" or "deep analysis."I operate with fundamental and technical analysis. My experience is that the fundamental analysis can be very useful to determine the general sense of the market. However, at the end of the day, what matters are the graphics and how the market responds to that data.It may be difficult to find that balance, but it is essential.

It seems that fundamental analysis is a topic that generates very divided opinions. Some see it as the key to having an advantage, while others think that the graphics say everything. However, I keep wondering, is it really necessary to dedicate so much time to analyze economic data if they are not clear or direct?
