Yes, breakout trading is always challenging! I think, just resources aren't enough here! Traders need both kind of analysis for becoming a constant performer!

Not only for break out trading, but also for trendy market. You have to filer your entrance points out by many parameters as much as possible.

Indiors can tell you what already has happened but cannot tell you what will occur. So I wouldn't build my egy just about the use of indiors.

This is the key fact. That is why I'm serious about price action rather than any tool.

I utilize Stoch and RSI indiors as my overbought and oversold FX signal.

If it is possible to edue yourself a story that it works then proceed on to what actually matter... trade management. What ever cause you have an entrance, it what happens afterwards that things.
The one thing you can control is how much you are willing to bet, and when to escape a trade. The rest isn't your decision.

I have been using indiors for years, all sort. I had ups and downs but ultimately and fortunately I stopped using them two weeks ago and never traded and I'm doing now, that means that you need to develop a system that has just price, past and present, as input parameter and no other calculation on it, that's exactly what indiors are.

So indiors are just smoke and that for me is a fact, not an opinion. I trade now with them and won't ever come back to them because even if my system or trading is not yet constant or viable in the long run, I understand now that I really don't need them to improve my trading or system and this really is liberating and game altering.

The default indiors like Stoch, RSI, MA are useful and cool. Additionally, there are lots of custom made indiors which need to be monitored carefully for repainting. If any indior repaints- just delete it

I would say these indiors are atleast good as support guidelines if not anything else.

Its better to go in with them than without. Though personally I just use the RSI indiors myself and Divergence egy.
