Thread: Stop fooling yourself There is no system

90062There isn't a system. This is true. However there are winning egies.
However nobody will be trillionaire with short term trading. This is because of the limitations of the market. You can't trace your egy if your trading funds gets too large. You have to use bigger timeframes as you grow and accept smaller and smaller returns. Nobody can take a 1 billion$ size position with a mouseclick. You will proceed to the market with pips if you liquidate it and it'll be the same. So over a specific size (it depends upon the market) it is not worth the issue you will lose.
So the only potential solution is to take the profit every month and don't grow anymore. Surely there is a long way for this stage but not impossible... if you don't think it you missed something on the highway...

90062Don't know why the first poster feels that no one can make good money consistently in the market. It depends on what your own egy is and just how well you implement it. My account is up 30 percent up to now this month I have losing trades. I can tell you Making money in the market is not too hard however if your going to approach it as nobody can earn money in the market, your going.

90062Personal failure extrapolation. We produce our own concept of reality to minimise the annoyance of our failings. It is less painful for the OP to arrive at the conclusion that long term profitability is impossible as well as their failure was unavoidable than the solution; loss, the failure and pain they experienced was their responsibility.

90062Vlad you goose.... The one trades is only scalable up to a size at which point the spread becomes so stoopid and also the strain that is plogical becomes so great that one can't maintain the compounding partner.
Daytrading at 50K a pip.... Theoretical nonsense....come back to the true world.

P.S just another profitable year for all the professional traders out there...I dont understand one full time trader who made a reduction in 2009.... For eg one buddy trading shares just made 60% instead of his usual 80-90percent in recent decades.
PPS this guy has 15 decades of results averaging 75% per year with no damaging years....is he therefore a gadzillionare??????? nope.... just wealthy.

Then you may also state that what we do (in existence ) is gambling. Running any business is a bet. Driving to work in the daytime is a bet (we can't guarantee we will make it there).

Thus we must view this with a small perspective. It's not gambling liberally - such as playing roulette.

So we need to view this with just a small perspective. It is not gambling blindly - like playing roulette.
    That's my point....

    Why is it not so???

So true every time I jump in my car and drive I'm taking a bet, consant exposure to this activity s the risk it really posses in the conscious of the subconscious mind. . Every time I hit on the T on my IB orders it's a bet.... My TP is struck or my SL, I don't have any control over the results no matter how great the signal is.

So you believe trading is different to blackjack or roulette, how? Both may have systems employed to enhance the odds (if they do or not is another article ). Both have idiots that don't manage risk and blow their money in 1 day or spin/trade...

    please inform me...
