The observation is that on such long (in size) candles which everybody calls strength you see very little transactions and trading is quite thin. Is that a sign of strength?

I do not consider this candle as a sign of strength. From what I have read it may be the big boys ' are manipulating the price. The price is going up but there is no volume. Therefore, what is causing the price to go up? If that were a legitimate move up it would seem there would be a lot of need volume, but it isn't there. Therefore, I think this a weak, candle.

Well I thought the idea of support might use... for the past 3 years this is the area where more supply comes into the market to encourage price... this together with the order flow/volume data I've been observing might result in higher prices.

    Hello LuckyMind and welcome

As I do not know what indicator you're running at the bottom of your chart I felt it best NOT to make any assumptions and also refer back to my own extrapolated Delta. As I have said in the past on numerous occasions, I hesitate to use those approaches on intraday trading because of the waxing and waning of quantity through a 24 hr day. . .that is standard of different markets around the world closing and opening. But I have adjusted your stage analysis as follows:

Notice here that the climax stage occurred when price closed over a small range that had occurred during the previous 4 candles. It's typical when resistance breaks for price to move dramatically higher on increasing volume. Additionally, this is suggested by a corresponding spike in delta quantity (ALL Buying).

The very next candle shows the exhaustion stage. Growing tick volumes - nevertheless price cannot close above the high of the last candle, and actually had a bout of selling over come. Additionally, the exhaustion delta volume revealed very weak buying.

Eventually, the absorption has been split between two candles. It does not always happen in a single candle - particularly on intraday time frames. Price rises to form a new high nevertheless tick volumes are falling. At the same time, the delta for this bullish bar reveals strong buying. . .yet about the very next candle, selling takes over on increasing tick volume and just about the same strength as the previous bar's buying quantity. In other words, the selling cancelled out the buying and shut back beneath the high. THIS is the absorption and your entrance is at this bar's close.

As well as this entrance (market entry) I would also have put a limit brief near that last high if buyers chose to retest that high. It would not have been filled.

    I trust this helps.

Forex is DECENTRALIZATION market, there's no things about quantity. All quantity indicator just quantify tick volume from your broker, even bigger broker like FXCM screen volume their trader who trade in their broker.
