Thread: My quotHoly S**t Momentquot

I have been trading Foreign Exchange on and off . I've discounted account after account, switched brokers, tried every trading system, and EA under the sun only to become consistent with a single thing: being on the incorrect side of this trade.

Until a few weeks back it dawned on me I was doing wrong - NOT TRADING WITH THE TREND. Holy Crap! Regardless of what EA, system, methodology, model, etc - I use - I'm actually on the ideal side of the commerce! I have read a lot of articles from some of the senior members pontifiing the matter - .

I know what you are thinking: Way to go captain obvious! To most of you who have said time and this time again. Thank you very much for the monotony!

You need a trend to generate money if you comply with the transfer fades.

I am a trend follower so I follow the herd. A few tendencies in a year is everything you want. Anxiety free trading

I am glad you understood this. Many will not and will keep blowing off accounts. They try to pick bottoms and the best and you will lose about 80% of the time if not more. Congrats and stick to your guns.

Hate to be the vinegar, but when you define what the trend is, please allow me to know. .

Because it seems so easy in concept, but it is not. .

Same here. Been hearing about The Trend on and on because the early days of trading but it had to pass a lot of time, sweat cash (not much fortunately) before really creating the final click.

I would really like to follow the fad. But....how would you know that the trend will last? That it is not over? That it will not reverse?

I guess that this is the $1M question, eh? :

    Yes, it's 1M $ issue.
I agree with Twoblink - what's the trend?
Most of us understand, that going with the tendency is your best way to go, however, unless you're able to set it into use, the term remains useless.

I have the response, you prepared for it? Drums roll... YOU DON'T CARE! This is the notion, the term tendency itself speaks of a chance. For how long? Don't care again, just track your posture methodically, you would be amazed how much you will be given by the tendency at times.

Perhaps take a look at the bigger picture and you guys need to pull your time out frames. I understand I will look at the 4 hr chart before entering. I understand I could tell a trend from the 4 hr our zoom out. A lot of people are adjusted on the 15 second time period and smaller. Just a suggestion.
