Splendid idea to make a journal! I do keep documents on old-fashion paper also but since I am slacking around onnigeriaforextradingdaily (trading is still a lonely game) that might be a bit more constructive for my own trading.

I have been practicing complex technical evaluation (named from the author, Igrok) for nearly 1 year (serious only for the last past months) and my mouth is all wet from all the stuff I have managed to pick up and exchange myself! This journal is purely based on what I have learned from Igrok;Session templates centered on Europe (launching ) session. Trendlines, S/R Price-patterns MM; 1 percent of the account on each trade. According to monthly operation, risk percent will chance. Coming back with more information.

I see that the excellent need to improve myself, not the system so I am putting up a tool to measure personal performance each week in order to help me understand where I could improve. Asking myself what could be useful to measure and searching over what problems I seem to have, I came up with this particular suggestions;Trade selection/preparation. What transaction did I choose and what seize if I enter the market together with (risk-factor/MM) ? ) Flexibility. How effective/constructive will I process new information given by the market? I.e new Possible SL or TP. Trade exit. Where could I place my SL and TP Mental state. How calm did I act throughout the transaction and did my feelings influence the outcome in any way? Score of 1-5 where 5 is the highest and the total amount will be 20. 10 points total could mean fair, below poor and above not overly bad. 15-20 are my weekly goal.

Please remember that this is a journal, so any articles ought to be geared afterward.

There is no point posting account details also from today, as I'm not trying to impress anyone, am I?

I take first TP in 60 pips when investing out of TL and I allow remainder run on TS. Works great for me so far.

Took 1/3 of position @ 60 pips (0.5percent ) and remainder got stopped out a couple of pips higher (1%) affording 1.5%.

Nice to see a really good trader opening a diary that I certainly will assess daily every day. Respect and several pips in 2009! Cheers buddy!

    Thanks, and same to you

Shorted eur/usd on 3 touch. Not any high-probability situation (low liquidity) however a 15 pips SL in risk for 50-60 pips is okay enough. The downtrend seems rather strong too so worth a shot.

Update; Great exchange These are the installments I Wish to exclude. I understand Igrok didn't take that trade so why should I waste my money when greater chance is right round the corner? -0.7%.

    Monday; 3%

18.4b I believed. However, the range was too big for fitting in to 18.4. Rushed into this transaction.

Update 1; I changed my SL to supporting a valid TL on lower TF. It got hit and stop and reverse are currently in play. -1.9%. Seems like a lot to shed on 1 commerce but I simply cancelled my buy order in the TL therefore that the risk wouldn't increase.

Update 2; SL hit, -2.9% complete.

I didn't reverse after my cable short got stopped out because of FEAR of losing yet another position. I didn't know I had fear in my head whilst trading, but I really do. I also seem to carry out awful after long vaions when it comes to discipline toward the computer system.

As a result of my panic, I didn't receive the 180 move cable that would have turned my daily -% into percent.

nzd/usd upgrade; 2/3 closed ( 1.2%) at 60 pips. Allowing remainder ride on 55 pips TS.

I could've ended this day really great if I just followed my damn straightforward rules! I need someone could strike me hard where it hurts when I do simple mistakes, but sadly that choice isn't accessible:

Hehe, great to listen than one isn't completely forgot about here. I am not that active any more but I guarantee to drop a minumum of one chart on your journal
