Thread: Trading with the Market Flow

This is my 2nd attempt at a trade journal on FF.
My first did not last long as life happened so we'll see how it goes.

I have called this one, as I think that best sums up the way I believe I need to create my trading decisions and represents
a lot of items that I've heard from a different thread on FF.

I must mention that I'm only a humble hobby trader that has been in this Forex match for a couple of years and for the most part
have just lost money week after week and month after month.

However, I think I'm slowly beginning to see the shadowy clouds part and a small ray of sunlight may be starting to shine on my trading.

I will try and journal all of my transactions here and explain to myself as best as I am what my trading egy actually is.

There was a solid DFB on Wednesday and was happy to take this one the following day on the first time back into the area.

It was a risky sign being a small bullish harami and that I had to weather a few drawdown with this one, but I kept on as there did not appear to be
any large bearish impulse within this region.

Closed near the source of the powerful bearish candle earlier in the day.

    AUD JPY

Much the same as the Aforementioned NZD JPY trade.

Felt pretty confident carrying both trades since they were demoning the same price action in the same moment.

Powerful DFB in early London trading on Tuesday.

Entrance was quite cluttered but place was good as this was first return back into DFB region.
Indecision candle before Entry revealed high volatility using quite low Impulse. This came only 2 pubs after
that powerful selling bar at 11:00.

Late NY session also provided the impetus to get a smooth setup for Thursday but missed that one.

There Has Been a very Powerful DFB back on Tuesday June 30th. And price kept pushing from that point.

Entered this one after seeing a return to shut MOnday's gap up from the first London session.
Really nice railroad track pattern together with the 2nd candle showing strong volatility and robust urge.

    Exited at last Thursday's highs.

    GBP NZD

    BUY

This was just one of those trades where I was so desparate to get into the move up to the top. I'd missed out on most of the previous moves
    and wasn't patient.

Impulse and volatility had been weak with this.

    GBP AUD

    BUY

This trade was shot very late in Tuesday NY session but the signal was quite solid in a really reasonable loion.
Pin Bar demoned strong volatility and urge.

Exit was Tuesday's highs which turned out to be a wonderful spot to escape.

    NZD CAD

    BUY

DFB on Wednesday was perhaps not the most powerful and it was easy for vendors to push back inside the previous day's high.

My entrance was a large spread bullish candle that had me carrying a large stop and entering all that advertising had happened .

My stop was missed by a few pips and was quite fortunate to escape with a little profit.

    Not the prettiest of trades.

I dont understand anything about your own method or yourself, but I like the equity curve of your own explorer. You are doing well I wish you best in future too. Keep the good work up.

    Thank you FX Saint.

Believe me those words mean a lot to me.

I'm only making very small profits right now, but just like my turtle, they're slow and steady and that suits me.

Over time I expect to produce a lot more notes , that clarify what I'm trying to do.

Best of trading for you, too.
