    That I think that the biggest problem is timing.
    Thruline, what's the time zone on your chart?
    That I think it's EST.. And so are pivots. That is the study on your egy.

    The'basic study' is pullbacks in tendencies according to the attached tools. Pivots are useful for exits for this strategy and sometimes entry time.

    I trade this method - one of several I use. Here are some notes about it:

    1) It's slow sometimes and keeps you out of profitable trades or puts you in late
    2) It does pretty well at keeping you out of choppy markets
    3) Generally, it is better if price is above the trendline on a buy and below to a market
