Highs and lows, not closes. I've been tweaking the strategy to ch more moves and will post an update here
once I think that it's all set.

You asked about stop losses - last pivot low or high as described on first post.

The stark reality is that I change these rules depending on market conditions, pivots, and risk tolerance.

Thanks. I enjoy it better with renko pubs. However its just a matter of taste.

It's a profitable strategy. The drawback is there are lots of moves that don't meet
the conditions and so are not traded. As far as further tweaks, I'm entering more on the
retracement, rather than breakout. That's also just a matter of taste and many times
ends in small profits/losses or scratch transactions. Additionally, it puts you in a position at times.
Once I get a profit of 7-10 pips, I do not allow the market come back and put me in a loss.
I'm fine with missing some big moves as a result.
