    Hello,

can you please inform me how can I get the futures data in mt4

My aim was to do a more comprehensive look, but I am feeling a bit lazy today.

The first chart is a EURO/USD 3 minute chart with information from FXCM.

The next chart is the 6E futures contract 3 minute.

    Notice the similarites.

Have a Look at the Evaluation on the first chart (Euro/USD) that says Long(?) . Note that the quantity is gray. This implies it's not less than the two periods, but the lowest volume in the last 20 intervals.

Now take a look at the 6E chart. That exact same period appears as an evaluation and the quantity is also gray.

There are a lot of signs of strength and weakness on both charts that come on precisely the exact same period. Have a look at the arrow pointing right down to quantity onto the 6E chart. Even though there's absolutely no indiion of strength on the period, we can see that quantity is less then the two periods. The close is marginally up so it won't registar as a NS in this case (although it will make a lower low rather than a lesser high).

If we look at that same period on the Euro/USD chart, we again see quantity less than the preceding two and we see that an indiion of strength.

All these indiions of strength and weakness aren't meant to show up on every period (one would still need to know how to read a chart). An individual would have to understand where and when they are appearing. But take a look at the area in the circles on both charts. They have the exact same exact pattern.

Hopefully this helps put an end to the There is not any Volume in forex debate. Or the Tick volume doesn't work since it only comes out of your broker argument.

a new question to ask oneself as the day begins is: what's there to the left of the chart? Can there be strength or weakness in the backdrop?

Its simplicity of Movement which you can find described here: http://www.marketinout.com/technical_analysis.php?id=44

I could not find an MT4 indior for this anywhere except for a nearly-functional variation on the mql4.com forum, which I shot and modified a bit to suit my own purposes (changes recorded in the comments top of this file). I use it as confirmation of this OBV and what I read in the candles volume.

It was originally designed to run within a 14 candle period, although that seems to work well on daily charts I discover longer values are needed for intraday. On 15 5 minute I'm currently using 40 50.

Nico, which has been a tough day to exchange, being as it was a Monday following a Friday which saw considerable price movements. Some sort of consolidation/retrace was probably, but the market did not wish to move at any certainty - . Best thing to do was take Monday off await Tuesday
