Thread: Forex Project: Duplicate real account every month

  1. #21
I know that duplicating the account every month sounds crazy for some, but I want to try the limits of what I can achieve. If I fail, I will learn something in the process.I do not understand why some people compare this with betting on a casino.I am using risk strategies and management, not launching the dice.Maybe the problem is your way of seeing trading.

The problem is not that you want to try the limits, but that you think that duplicating your account every month is sustainable. It is an unrealistic and dangerous goal. You are not in a casino, but if you still ignore the probability and proper risk management, you will end up having similar results: lose everything.

Trying the limits is fine, but there is a line between being ambitious and being reckless. If you have a good strategy, you could achieve solid growth without risking too much.Your attitude reminds me of new traders who seek to get rich quickly.Trading is a business, not a lottery.Change your approach before it's too late.

I understand its point, but doubling the account is just an objective. If I do not achieve it, that does not mean that it fails, as long as you get a positive return. It motivates me much more to work towards a challenging goal than to settle for a "realistic" objective. If I fall, I'll get up.But at least I tried.

That is admirable, but the problem with such high goals is that they push you to make mistakes.Instead of focusing on a solid strategy, you end up forcing operations to achieve your goal.I am not telling you not to try, just be aware of the risk you are assuming.Sometimes, a more conservative approach takes you further.

It seems to me that you are confusing ambition with foolishness. It is great to have high goals, but they must be based on a reasonable plan, not on a dream. In the Forex, it is better to be consistent than spectacular. It is useless to double your account for a month if you lose everything to the next.

I have read their comments and are some reason.Maybe my goal is a bit extreme, but I don't want to give up yet.I will adjust my approach to prioritize consistency on speed.Does anyone have advice on how to maintain a balance between being ambitious and being realistic?

A good balance would be to establish smaller but attainable goals, as a monthly 5 %.That is still impressive if you achieve it consistently. In addition, be sure to have a solid risk management plan. You never risk more than you can afford to lose, even if you think the operation is "safe."

If you really want to keep your ambitions, divide your account into two parts: one for conservative operations and another to test more aggressive strategies. In this way, you can continue chasing your goals without endangering your entire capital. It is a commitment between safety and risk.

That sounds interesting.Dividing my account could give me more flexibility to experiment without compromising all my investment.I'm going to try that approach. Thanks for the suggestion, it seems like a good starting point to adjust my strategy.
