Thread: Friend hands

This thread exists to make it easier for me to share free trading information and tools with the members of the forum with whom I maintain private correspondence. It is not intended for open discussion. For example, if a member of the forum with whom I am talking privately asks me a question that is better explained with a graph, I can answer you here by publishing that graph. You don’t know because you don’t ask it.

Citing This thread exists to make it easier for me to offer help to my fellow forum members. Can I participate here? Citing {quote} Can I participate here? Of course. But be aware that this thread is not for open discussion, but so that I can share free information with the forum members I am in direct contact with. You don't know because you don't ask.

If someone needs an example of how to interpret the crossover of moving stockings in H1, I just uploaded an image with a classic entry that gave good results. It’s not just about following the lines, but understanding why they cross at that time. The pre-price action is key to validating that signal.

A tip: if you're starting and you're overwhelmed with indicators, be alone with price and key levels. You don't need to fill the color chart to understand the market. Less is more, especially when you're still developing your intuition as a trader.

I'm not going to sweeten it: if you don't do backtesting, you're wasting your time. Operating without validated historical data is like blindfolding. I've already seen too many traders that only test demo for a week and think they're experts.

I share a simple EA that I use to test candlestick patterns. It does not perform miracles, but it serves as a basis for building something more complex. I leave it here because several asked me for private. Don’t expect magical returns, it’s just a tool.

If you're operating without a trading journal, you're giving money to the market. Entering each transaction helps you detect mistakes and improve. Don't underestimate how powerful it can be to write down your decisions, emotions and results.

I enclose a risk management template that I have been using for months. It includes automatic lotage calculation according to the percentage of risk. It may seem basic, but you would be surprised how many lose money for not knowing this.

Today someone asked me if you can live trading with a $500 account. The short answer: no. The long one: neither. This is not magic. Capital, constancy, management and years of practice are needed.

I uploaded a graph with a fake entry that seemed perfect but ended up in SL. The important thing is to understand why it failed, not hide mistakes. These kinds of situations are where you learn the most, if you know how to observe without ego.
