Thread: Are there really brokers without slippage or manipulation?

  1. #1
I’ve been operating since 2021 and I haven’t found a broker yet that doesn’t slip me “by mistake” at key times. And don’t vend me that “it’s volatility,” because I’ve already eaten slips of up to 30 pips in low liquidity moments for no apparent reason. Is there anyone who really runs as promised?

There is no such thing as perfect execution. All brokers have slippage, the difference is whether they recognize it or make it up. The problem is that most do not operate in real market, they are only market creators playing against you.

The exact same thing happened to me with FXPro. I was executed with 2 seconds delay and I was nailed 17 pips apart without any macro event on the calendar. You claim and all you get is a copy-paste of customer service.

Well, I'm with IC Markets and nothing like that has happened to me. I use RAW account and run with cTrader. Can there be slippage? Sure, but it's minimal and generally favorable. Anyway the problem is your VPS or the quality of your connection, not all is the fault of the broker.

Most people who cry for slippage don't even know how command routing works. What did you expect? An exact execution with 0.1 spread and no news commissions? Welcome to the real world, rookie.

There's slippage and then there's certain brokers like FBS or Exness, which already rubs the manipulation. I've had candles that don't appear on any other chart but on their platforms. How do you explain that?

The only time I had clean execution was with Darwinex. But of course, it’s not for everyone, because it requires a minimum head and they don’t sell dreams. If you’re looking for leverage 1:1000 and $10 bills, you’re going to rip yourself off.

Many regulated brokers in Europe have content slippage, but don’t even dream about it if you’re with any registered brokers in Seychelles, Mauritius or Vanuatu. Do you really think those “regulations” are for anything?

Some of you need to understand that if you use MT4 and your broker controls the server, you can manipulate the executions as you please. The worst part is that you don't even realize until you've already lost money. Use cTrader or standalone platforms if you really want transparency.

What a laugh I get from those who say that the slippage is “normal.” Of course it is... if you’re in a demo. But when you’re systematically scraping the stop loss by 0.3 pips in 2 moves, you know there’s something else.
