What really works is to have a solid foundation in finance, economics and politics. And add some psychology to it as well. There is no magical system, but we have all gone through the phase of looking for one. In the end, knowledge is the only real shortcut.
In the markets everything works until it stops working. There is no guarantee of anything, only odds and constant adaptation.
In order for a strategy to work, you have to avoid days with news like ADP, Non-Agricultural Payrolls, FOMC Minutes, Type Decisions... Mobile media crossing, but wait a step back before entering. If there isn’t, forget that operation. And always manage your losses. There’s the holy grail.
The trick is to know when to stop applying something and not marry any strategy.
This is what has worked for me in intraday: Knowing if you are in trend or range. Intraday volume. Continuation and end of trend. Zones with many orders and stops. News that deviate from what is expected. Correlations between markets. Make good relationships with other traders, that also adds.
The fundamental analysis works, although many underestimate it. If you understand the economic cycles well, you have half way done.
If you are willing to strive and stay flexible, this is what gives results: Important levels of support/resistance + Confluence Factors + Overbought/oversold Price + Fundamental Context = Good setup. It's not magic. It's work.
The market gives signals, but you need to interpret them without prejudice. Being flexible, without breaking, is key. There is money if you know how to see it.
It’s funny how some here react as if asking this question was a crime. All I want is for those who have had results to share their experience. I’m not asking for the holy grail, just realism. Something works doesn’t mean it works forever or for everyone. And no, I’m not promoting anything. I don’t have a product, course or channel. I just got tired of reading this doesn’t work without seeing real contributions. If that bothers you, maybe the problem isn’t the question, but what it reveals about you.
