With how lateral that pair is, don't you consider applying grid trading techniques?

  2. #22
I have thought about it, but I prefer to avoid methods that can lead to dangerous drawdowns. My approach is discretionary and with fixed stops.

This thread is gold. We need more daily on boring pairs for those of us who want to learn risk management without our heart exploiting.

The price is still stuck in a range of 25 pips. I stay out of it, I'll wait for confirmation of breakup.

Bravo for having the discipline of not operating when there's no clear chance. There's the difference between a rookie and someone serious.

Do you plan to share your weekly or monthly results in the journal?

  8. #28
Yes, every end of the month I will give a summary with metrics of my operations: number of trades, net profit, maximum drawdown and ratio of successes.

  9. #29
Perfect, that will help those who follow your process a lot. Thank you for sharing.

I would like to know if your results confirm that the tight spread of EUR/CHF offsets its low volatility.
