Thread: Trading Diary: My 30-day challenge in exotic pairs

  1. #21
Day 7: USD/TRY. Perfect entry in pullback after break in 1h, closed with +82 pips. The key: wait confirmation and not guess. I start to see progress.

That operation deserves a round of applause!

  3. #23
Still, don't you think it's just a matter of time before an unexpected spy takes you out?

  4. #24
Day 8: Rest, there were no operations. I checked all the entries of the week and noticed that my best operations shared something: patience to confirm pattern + operate only in active sessions.

  5. #25
    That makes a long-term difference.

  6. #26
When you're done for 30 days, do you plan to stay exotic or will you go back to majors?

  7. #27
Day 9: USD/ZAR. Entry in false breakup, closed with -40 pips. Here I was carried away by emotion, forcing an operation in day without news or volume. Learning: if the market does not offer opportunities, better not to operate.

  8. #28
We've all made that mistake, at least you caught it fast.

  9. #29
Don't you think discipline is more important than strategy in this kind of pair?

  10. #30
Day 10: USD/SGD. Long in daily support confluence + pattern in M30, closed with +55 pips. Operating patiently pays off, I hope I can keep calm the rest of the challenge.
