Well done Scalp can be cost effective and more consistent than the long term. Go through the thread of linuxtroll and get ready to learn. More risky in minutes or weeks? It all depends. Do you operate at 0.01 or $1,000 per pip? You have to count the risk/benefit ratio and the broker commission. If maintaining 3 weeks leads you to lose 500 pips, step.

I don't think the scalping question was answered... This is for S&P but it can serve in forex as well. I used it several times. I don't do that anymore, but there it goes.

With the Aroon indicator, taking out 5 pips is no problem, but study it well first.

If you don’t know how to read candles or the pure price action, don’t operate without indicators. One of my favorite systems for low timeframes is MACD for 5 minutes. Here’s the link: https://www.investopedia.com/articles...inute-momo.asp Don’t change anything, follow it to the letter. It works great in any pair and timeframe for more than 5 minutes. In the end I started using it on M5 and now I prefer to apply it on H4 or more. I have my own system now, but this is still a powerful resource.
