Thread: Actual daily trading without filters or excuses (scalping in EUR/USD)

Do you use trailing stop or fixed TP/SL from the beginning? I see that many scalpers adjust in real time, but that can turn against it.

@user 10 Always fixed SL. The TP adjusts it according to the behavior of the price. If I see strong rejection or lack of intention, I go out earlier. I prefer to ensure 5-7 pips that lose by greedy. Thursday with taste to little: Sale in 1,0843, departure in 1.0837 – +6 pips Purchase in 1.0832, SL in 1.0826 – -6 pips Sale in 1.0828, departure in 1.0822 – +6 pips Total of the day: +6 pips net (again)

I love your approach. Most just want to boast +50 pips and you are showing that +6 pips daily also add up if they do well.

Wouldn't it be more profitable to operate less but with greater routes? Scalping seems too much work for little return.

Have you ever tried to retest your strategy in M15? Sometimes the pattern is just as visible but with less stress.

Thank you all for commenting. @user 12 I don't deny it, but my personality fits better with fast operations. I'm emotionally exhausted leaving an operation open for hours. @user 13 I've tried, but I feel I lose precision. Maybe it's a practice thing. Friday: Purchase at 1.0865, departure at 1.0872 – +7 pips Sale at 1.0875, SL played at 1.0882 – -7 pips Sale at 1.0881, departure at 1.0873 – +8 pips Total of the week: +35 pips

Good closing of the week. It is not much, but if you repeat that every week and with good lotage management, you end up with good count at the end of the month.

Don't you think the market is too manipulated to do scalping? I get the feeling that they always go in to sweep before moving seriously.

I followed your operations today and opened a similar demo. It helped me a lot to see how you managed the setback. Thank you for sharing it.

Good diary. Are you going to add graphics or images from your tickets? Visually it would also help those we are learning price action.
