Yes, requotes do occur and generally whenever the price could not be filled..this is more an effect of a volatile market but there are a couple of brokers who issue requotes often. .

[quote=nence;7373412]Is there an option that Permits You to Assume control of the risk of requoting... I mean, let Us say There's a price difference of 4 pips between the price you saw and the price the market is offering in the Exact Instant, is there a Method for the trade not to be Implemented without your permission... I'm sorry if my question Isn't clear... I'd troubles translating my thoughts into words and then Right into a foreign language

I've a question about reqoating. Appearantly when I trade in high-volatility at Alpari broker they really do reqoating (it states on their site) and I think that they could give me 10 pips off from the actual market price so that I would lose money.
However, alpary has the choice, if I cover them 16 dollar (on commission) then they're going to stop this grisly action. Then they will never ever alter the spread for me personally. They will just ignore me and let me enter trades directly to the market.

    My question:
Why does Alpari assert to be an ECN if they do reqoating? I thought only market manufacturers do reqoating and ECN brokers only earn money from commission, right?

Requotes are common in particular markets, and are part of almost any Forex trading career. But if you find that your Forex broker requotes frequently (especially during silent markets) your broker could be suffering from a lack of liquidity. If that is true, you may choose to find a new Forex broker.

Re quotes generally occurs when an trader initiates a trade at a certain price , but the broker returns the request with another quote. This happens more often in fast-moving markets , once the markets are notably volatile or if the trade is particularly large (requiring verifiion from the trader ). This is normally due to rapid price changes, which means the broker cannot give you the same price you saw when you clicked buy or sell

Perhaps it's dumb question, but I wish to understand...

Re-quote sometimes happens also on limit orders or is it just for market orders?
