Let me start by saying that you stole the user title and you used it as your name. It's a joke. But I don't understand what happened. When you say your order was moved, do you mean that the original entry price was modified?I think your broker's response tries to explain the swap rate.Tom
Depending on your broker, some adjust in cash and others in "pips".Although I cannot explain it as well as others, it seems that your broker's swaps/Tomnext are quite high in their favor.111 pips seems too much for a couple of days.A tip: if you are waiting for a couple to "stabilize" before opening a position, better stay in cash.Good previous planning prevents poor performance.
Yes, my original sales order was closed and reopened 111 pips below. Here is the attached PDF to which they sent me.PS: Sorry for the name.I honestly thought I would be reserved.
Thanks for the explanation. This was what I initially suspected.I also guess if I had been long (NZD/USD
This sounds more than your broker is teasing you than a standard policy.111 pips for a rollover of a couple of days makes no sense.Maybe it's time to reconsider who you are operating with. There are much more transparent and better conditions.By the way, give you a link to a PDF explains nothing. He insists that they give you a clear answer on how they calculate those 111 pips.If they don't, you know what you have to do: change broker before losing more money.
Thanks for your answer.I am also starting to suspect my broker.I sent you an email asking them to explain how that figure was reached, but I still have no answer.I am investigating other options, but I want to make sure to completely understand how swaps and rolloves work so as not to repeat the same error elsewhere.I appreciate any more reliable brokers suggestion.
I don't want to be rude, but this happens because you don't read your broker's policies before operating.Did you really think you could maintain positions without understanding how rollovers work? This is trading, not a game of chance. That said, 111 Pips remains a robbery.Even with the highest swaps, that should not happen. It demands a detailed explanation or changes from broker now.And for next time, find out well before starting.
You are right, I should have investigated more before opening an account. It was a beginner mistake, I admit it.Now that I have experienced it, I am committed to learning everything I can about these policies.I will not make the same mistake twice, that sure.
There are brokers trying to take advantage of beginners because they know they have no experience to question these things. You don't have to accept such a high adjustment without more.Have them explain in detail the calculations of those 111 pips and, if they do not, be sure to warn other traders about their practices. It is a way to protect you and also help the community.
