Thread: Specialist or hot trend?Which one do you choose and why?

  1. #1
The idea to create this thread arose from a discussion with other members in another of my interesting threads. In this forum we already have issues that discuss things such as: - "How many pairs should I operate?"- "A single vs. multiple pairs?"- "How many pairs do you operate and why?"However, what interests me is not the amount of pairs, but your specific choice of them.So here is the question: are you a specialist or do you choose the trend of the moment?I am sure that some already understand where I go with this, but for the rest, let me explain a little more. There are traders who prefer to become specialists and only operate a couple of specific currencies (or two, but they never change

Opero everything, but I like EUR/USD more than other pairs.Concentrate while you relax to observe better.

Citing: none of the above. Most traders would fall in the first category, so please, can you explain what do you mean?Citing: Opero everything, but I like to operate EUR/USD than other pairs. And why?Details, please.*Different ideas help us learn and understand many things.*

Citing: {quote} I think it is safer in front of the manipulation of large traders and also the spread is small. That's all.Obviously, the small spred refers to the EUR/USD, but the first part is a bit confusing.Do you mean that when operating more pairs you are safe from the manipulation or that you operate EUR/USD because it is safe in front of the manipulation? And thanks for participating in the survey.*Different ideas help us learn and understand many things.*

They always appear when I answer from my tablet. No matter what you do, I can't eliminate them.*Different ideas help us learn and understand many things.*

Citing: {quote} one, two or more but never change them. That is me, more or less: Opero GBP/USD and/or EUR/USD in approximately 95% of my operations.I just need a good perspective of taking 16 pips to enter.Occasionally I look at USD/CAD and USD/CHF if the "mine" are not moving, but when the "mine" do not move, the others do not usually do it either.I do not attract the pairs with JPY, and the Aud and NZD pairs often have higher spreads.
