Thread: Beginner's question: how to have a demo account for more than a month?

It helped me to have several demos in different brokers. So you also compare execution and spreads.

I started out with a 30-day demo and on the 28th I was forced to open a real account to continue using the software.

Those brokers don't even deserve you to open a trial account for them, they just want your deposit.

The demo is like the trading gym. If time limits, how do they expect you to train well?

You can't measure consistency in 30 days if you're starting from scratch.

And even if you knew, in a month you don't see all the cycles of the market. A realistic demo should last at least six months.

If your strategy doesn't last 6 months of demo, it won't work.

I wish more rookies would think like you, most of them go on a real count with three days' demo and then complain.

I've read too many stories of burned accounts. I don't want to be another one on the list.
