Thread: Diary of a trader without emotions

I open this thread because I am tired of reading newspapers full of excuses, regrets, mysticism and cheap self-help phrases. This will be a cold, technical and only based on probabilities, management and execution. Zero emotions, zero dramas, zero words. I do not expect followers, neither likes, nor emotional coaching. I will only register my operation as, with inputs, outputs, technical justification and risk management. If you are looking to cry about your losses, go to another thread. Here it comes to operation.

The thread starts strong. I like the approach without sentimentality, there are already too many spiritual traders around here.

Updated: 3 operations today. EURUSD short 1.0792 ? TP at 1.0762 ? +30 pips GBPUSD long 1.2645 ? SL at 1.2624 ? -21 pips USDJPY long 158.22 ? TP at 158.84 ? +62 pips Result of the day: +71 pips net. No emotion, no magic, only patterns and execution.

Do you use any mechanical systems or do discretionary analysis? I’m interested to see how you filter the inputs.

Discretionary based on market structure + volume + zone confluences. I don't use indicators beyond VWAP and ATR. If you don't understand what you see in the chart, the indicator won't understand for you either.

Your style is arrogant but effective. I stay and see how you follow.

Closed week: +212 pips in total. 4 trades losers, 9 winners. Real performance: +3.2% of the account. Ratio win/loss: 69%. Goal: maintain this performance for 3 months in a row before increasing the lotage.

I don't know what's weirder, that you never complain or that you don't put emojis in every message.

Any pair you can avoid surgery, or is it all a chance while there's setup?

I avoid exotic pairs and crosses with communal spreads. I don't need adrenaline, I need liquidity and reliable technical behavior.
