Thread: Intraday Trading Journal with Structure Analysis and Liquidity

  1. #1
I start this journal to document my evolution by operating intraday with a focus on market structure and liquidity zones. I operate mainly in EUR/USD and GBP/USD in M15 and M5 temporalities. My idea is to share entries, previous analyses and daily results, including errors to improve.

    Day 1: Winning: +24 pips Operations: 3 (2 winners, 1 loser

Day 2: Result: -16 pips Lesson: Don't operate if you're tired. I went in without validating the previous displacement. I got caught in a liquidity trap for not waiting for the candle closure. I failed emotional management, I closed an operation with fear and then the TP would have been given.

Day 3: Earnings: +42 pips Best trade: Sale in EUR/USD right after bulldozer handling in pre-existing liquidity zone. I based myself on structure break in M5 and entry with M1 confirmation. This type of trade is what I am looking to replicate.

Day 4: Result: +12 pips GBP/USD entry based on BOS + retest, but very ambitious TP. Sometimes you have to settle for less when the market is slow. Better earn little than end up in BE for greedy.

I am grateful for the private comments that have been sent to me. I am not a guru, I just share what I am learning. If this diary serves for someone else to save themselves a few annoyances, it is already worth it.

Day 5: Loss: -34 pips Comment: He betrayed my confidence. I came from 3 winning days and threw myself without validating macro context. Result: hurried entry before London opening. Learned the lesson (again

Wow, it looks like this thread is taking shape. See if now that you’re publishing daily you’re also more embarrassed to make the same mistakes. Sometimes the best emotional management tool is to expose yourself publicly.
